Zeli Garret Interviews Churchill Emmanuel from the streets.

Activities Involved

  • Visiting government juvenile remand homes.
  • Counseling.
  • Participating in youth justices programs.

Through our outreaches, the community has been actively involved in the activities, and in the process get to be sensitized about the plight of street children in Uganda.

Most times they are inspired / encouraged to participate in curbing the vice any way possible. As in the words of mother Teresa, “ Don’t wait for the leaders to do it alone… ” each person’s effort surely does make a difference.

We have also partnered with some local NGOs to provide free legal services to street children who end up committed in remand homes and carry out monthly visits to juvenile remand homes to offer both physical and emotional support
